Spectral Roommates
From a Visitor in Tennessee:
We live in a three-story house that is only about 30 years old. The farm it's on however has been used for about 90-100 years (there was another house on the foundation that was demolished) and is very far away from other houses.
Only my family has lived in it but only my mother is paranoid. The odd events started when I was 13, I am 16 now. At the east end of the house, on the bottom floor, there is my mother’s room, a hallway, and then my room, then at the end of the hallway there was a living room. Sitting on the couch in the living room you could turn your head to the right and see the doorway to my mother’s room.
You could see things out of the corner of your eye, like any paranoid person would. But when you looked over and actually saw it, it would freeze and just stay there. I don’t know how to explain it, it wasn’t an apparition, and it was a dark grey fog-like spirit . I guess that’s what you could call it. We saw it for about two years (we=me, my mother, and my brother who was 17).
That was the most normal of my experiences. I don't know what all my brother has seen but he is Wiccan and practices with spells and Ouija Boards. There is a man (or former man I should say) in my house. He only sits in the chair in the living room on the second floor. You can see him for the third floor, which is sort of a balcony overlooking the second floor. I've only seen the tip of his head but I can feel him. Several of my friends, and my brother have seen his whole figure. I get evil vibes when he’s around but I don’t see him anymore. I experienced this from 15-16.
The most frightening of my experiences was when I was on web-cam with two of my friends (they don’t get along and don’t talk to each other). I got up to get my guitar and one asked who was up there with me. I said no one it was late, about 2 a.m. and I was the only one awake. The other asked where my grandpa went. I asked what he meant. He told me my grandpa was behind the couch in the background but walked off. They both saw it but I never did. This was last year.
Also I was in the bathroom with the living room light turned off but I could still see everything if I focused. I was looking in the mirror but noticed something white pass by the door sort of like fog. I looked over and noticed a Wal-Mart bag being pulled around next to a wooden chair. As I looked closer I noticed that the chair was shaking slightly as if someone were playing with it. My friend experienced this too without me telling her about what happened to me. This still happens but its not just bags, if there is a jacket hanging on the chair it will play with the sleeves.
