Gran's House
From a Visitor in England:
It all started when my gran moved into her new house in 1974. The house, she had bought, was built on the land where there used to be a prisoner of war camp for Germans during World War II. There were even bullets in the trees in her garden. (Editors note: garden in Great Britain is the same as yard in the United States). One night I lay in bed and suddenly I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I knew it wasn't my gran, because she was in bed asleep and there was no one else in the house except the two of us. Then it got scary when the footsteps started coming to my room. I closed my eyes tight. Then I could felt someone's breath breathing on me, as if standing over me. Suddenly something began to stroke my face. I quickly opened my eyes but nothing was there.
The next night a young girl my gran knew died. At the moment she died my gran woke up and knew something was wrong. As she lay there thinking about it, her door creaked open. My gran just knew it was the young girl visiting her.
After that, I told my gran what had happened to me the night before. My gran got a psychic to come to the house and the psychic got rid of all the ghosts that were in the house. But sometimes I feel as though they still come to visit!
