The Ghost in the Corner

When I was four years old, back in 1961, my older sister woke up screaming. We, my two sisters and I, shared the same bedroom. It was a stormy night. I asked my one sister what was wrong? She told me that she had seen a ghost in our room. And it was still in our room. Then she pointed at it. And there it was standing in the corner. It was about three feet tall and was kind of bluish, grey. It had no distinguishable outline or features. It was just a blur. Kind of like the ghost five year olds draw. Well, needless to say, my two sisters left the room and ran to our parent’s room but I stayed behind. I was curious. I then got out of my bed and walked toward it. I then put my hand toward it and through it. I somehow sensed that it was aware of my presence also. There was also a tingling sensation when I put my hand through it. I then backed away and it began to waver back and forth. And this time, I realized I was alone and thought it be a good time to leave. We’ve never seen it again, but I’ll never forget this experience.
