"Cell" Call 11/15
From a Visitor in Colorado:
It was in 1996 that I got my first job, as a security guard in a mental institution. The prison is the type were they hold the "mentally unable to stand trial".
In my first month on the job and working during the night shift that is usually slow paced, that night was not out of the ordinary but it was the first time that I was working at the assigned post. My shift started at 8 and everything was usual; but all of a sudden almost at midnight I started hearing someone yelling and crying really loud. My first impression was that it was coming from the cell blocks and didn't pay any attention to it, but as it continued in time and intensity I decided to take a walk all the way to the front gate that gives access to the cell blocks to check what was going on.
The hallway that give access to the cell block has some offices for clerks, nurses and a mess hall for the inmates and as I was walking to the front gate was when I realized that the yelling and screaming was not coming from the cell blocks, it was coming from one of the clerk’s office. I was surprised that someone would still be working at that time because office workers usually get off work at 4, but since it was my first time at that post I wasn't sure. The door was closed but I still hear the voice clearly the yelling, screaming and words of a female voice that were pretty upset.
When I knocked on the door to see if could be of some help the female shouted for me to go away, so I decided to walk again to my desk and call my supervisor to let him know that somebody was in the office and had some issues. That's when I realized that something was up because my supervisor laughs at me and told me he will be up in a minute. From the moment it took my supervisor to walk upstairs the noise stopped, but when he sees me, he tells me that I'm the third one. I didn't gave any attention to the comment and started talking about what was going on as I walked him to the office where the noise was coming from, as I was explaining to him he had that laugh in his face and when we got to the office and he opened it (only the supervisor had keys for clerks and staff offices) to my amazement it was EMPTY!
I started swearing to my supervisor that there was somebody in there not because I didn't want him to think that I was crazy but just because I didn't want him to think that I made him walk all the way up for nothing. And it was then that he told me that he believes what I’m saying because I was the second person that had that same experience and that other guard had an actual appearance of the female, plus inmates report them also. He continued to explain to me the story behind the lady and what happen to her in the complex and why her soul still lingers in the place.
After that I heard it twice on other occasions, but I did work in that post more than two times and for a person like me I'm the show me the proof kind a guy, it was pretty tough to make sense of it all. That's was my experience if anybody can shed some light on it, I will be glad to hear from you.
Eeeek Comment - You failed to explain to us what your supervisor told you was the story behind the woman screaming/yelling. Perhaps if you had told us this we could give a more defined comment regarding your experience. But all in all it sounds as though this poor woman continues to relive her horrible experience and the security guards that have heard her yells are simply sensitive enough to hear her yells through the thin veil that separates life and life after physical death.
