When I was a child, around 5 years old, my Mother, Brother, and I, lived in an apartment.
Most children are scared of the dark, but my fear of it went past normal. Every night, my Mother would tuck me into bed, say goodnight, turn off the light, and walk down the short hall into the living room. Just seconds after she would turn off the light and leave, I'd become deathly scared. I would try to call her name, but for some reason I wasn't able to speak. I'd try as hard as I could to move, get up and run to the living room, but I was paralyzed. I'd lay their, stiff as a board, unable to move or speak. I remember one time my head suddenly jerking to the side, without me moving it, and throwing up.
When I woke up the next morning however, there was nothing on the pillow. Except a bloodstain that appeared a while after. (Thought that could have been caused by something else) My Mom never mentioned the stain though, when I told her I had thrown up. Like she couldn't see it, or something. I don't really know.
One day in particular, I woke up in the middle of the night and walked into my Mom's room. I stood and called out her name, wanting her to wake up, because I was too scared to be alone in the dark. Suddenly something covered my eyes, and I was thrown against the wall. I crawled away and the next thing I knew it was morning, with me in my bed.
I told my Mom about it some time later, and she just chalked it up to me getting attacked by the cat. (she didn't return me to my bed, either.)
I know what I went through though, and it wasn't the cat.
We moved out of that apartment a year later, and I've never felt paralyzed in the dark again. Though, other odd things have happened. (If you can really call them 'odd')
This probably happens to many people, but when I want things to happen, they do. I'll want to watch something on TV, or want a certain movie to be on, and it will. Times when I haven't completed my homework, the teacher won't be there, or we'll be given more time.
Or I'll see (or read) things, and the next day it'll come up somewhere, and I'm able to use that knowledge to my advantage. Just weird coincidences like that.
Or I'll need to talk to someone (like for a school club I want to join) and they'll walk by me.
Also, things in my room get smashed (lamps and light bulbs will break, when no one's in the room). I've used tarot cards before as well, and the people I've used them on get freaked out because it's always accurate.
Things like that are usually accurate though, because people want them to be. (right?)
I don't know exactly what these things mean, but I just thought I'd share them anyway.
