I know that a lot of people don't believe me when I say that I see ghosts, but I do. I remember once when I was about 13 I was walking down the hall in the house that I've lived in since I was 8. Nobody has ever died there or anything, so I was shocked to see a ghost. My hall is barely big enough for two people to stand facing each other, much less shoulder-to-shoulder. All of a sudden I was frozen and I felt like someone was watching me. I looked to my left and there was a girl of maybe 11 or 12 standing very close to me (shoulder-to-shoulder!). She stood there staring at me with a blank serious expression. Then she faced in front of her, took a step, and disappeared! After that I was suddenly able to move again. I ran into the living room and told my mom about it. She said she had seen nothing (even though she was within full of the hall) and had not even realized I was standing there! I have seen other things since and had seen things before, but it was extra weird because she was so close to me. Honestly, it wasn't her I was scared of, just the fact that I knew she was a ghost.
