From a visitor from Texas

When I was 20 yrs. old we moved to Arkansas, to a little town which name I do not care to tell at this time. While we were buying groceries in this little town we asked if there were any houses for rent and the grocery store owner said he had one. He took us over to a rather old fashioned house that had a basement and one large room upstairs. The down stairs was really oddly built in the old country day style about the 30's or 40's. We rented the house and moved in that afternoon. My uncle, who was a year older than me, my other uncle, his brother, who was a year younger than me, and my husband and 10-month-old son, and myself eagerly moved in. My uncle was going to take the room upstairs until he found out that every time we went up there and turned the one light on, it hung from a long electric wire out of the ceiling like in the old days and you had to cut it off by pulling a string; when we turned the light off and left the room, l and returned the light was always back on again. At first we thought it was the younger brother playing tricks on us, but we soon learned that was not so. I have always been psychic and the house really did not feel right to me. We would cut all the lights off in the house and go out and when we returned the one upstairs was always on! We finally locked the upstairs door and hoped this would take care of it, but it did not! The landlord told us that the house belonged to his brother who had gone off on a fishing trip. There was a locked closet at the bottom of the stairs and we cracked it open just far enough to see what was in it. There was men's clothing and a lot of fishing rods and fishing gear! This in itself would have been enough to give us the incentive to leave, but we did not! Next I started passing out every morning at 10am exactly. I would be there alone with my son and sitting at the kitchen table and drinking coffee while he was in his stroller going all over the kitchen. I would pass out and wake back up at exactly 10:20am every morning. At no other time would I pass out! I got really scared when I woke up once and my small son was half in and half out the back door while he was in his stroller! The steps out the door were about four foot off the ground and I got to him just in time to grab him before he fell! I had locked the screen and could not figure out how it got open! I made friends with another young mother there that had a two-year-old girl. I invited her over and ask her to watch and see what happened while we drank coffee. I did not tell her anything because I did not want to scare her or influence her into thinking she seen something not real. I passed out as usual and woke up to her calling my name and asking me if I had had enough sleep the night before. I said yes and that it had been happening to me since we moved into the house. She refused to come back to the house to see me, but would let me visit her. Then the really strange thing happened. One day I was in the living room reading a book while my son slept on the couch and I heard what sounded like a large metal door opening! The noise came from under the house! It got quite and I passed out again! I woke up to the sound of the door or whatever, closing with a slight metal bang! I jumped up and grabbed my son and ran to the bedroom we slept in and locked myself in! I sat on the bed holding him and listening to see if I could hear anything else. The curtains beside the bed began to move as if a breeze was blowing! There were no open windows or doors! I ran outside and waited for my husband and uncles to get home from work. I told them that I wanted to go back to Texas, and they took my son and me the next day. They went back to Arkansas and stayed another two weeks waiting on their checks. When we met up again I ask about the house and they said it was still having the same things happening when they left and the light always stayed on! I never knew what was going on, but now that I am older and have had more things happen to me, I realize that maybe the landlord's brother was trying to tell us something! I do believe that he was dead and maybe buried in the basement and was trying to communicate with us, or me directly! I hate being psychic because I am clairvoyant too and it all comes together sometimes and makes for some real bad experiences. Like the time I saw the dog in the cemetery that was not there, or the time I saw the man riding the horse down the street and could see straight through him and the horse! Or like the time the old lady entered my body and I could not move until she left! We were living in her house and she did not want us there! Once I seen the entrance to a graveyard in a vision and it said the name of the place and the iron poles were so vivid and the grass so green. Later on that year I learned a friend of mine, whom I have always been very close to, had gotten killed and when I went to visit his grave the name of the cemetery was the exact same one and I had never heard of it before! I know this is rather long, but I could go on and on about the things that have happened to me over the years, but I will close for now and say...ghost or no ghost? That is the question, but just about the time you think you do not believe, then listen and look and try to figure out what that shadowed movement and unexpected noise might be!
