My family and me moved into our new house in 1996 and have loved living here. However we have come to realize that we are not the only ones living here. As our house is an old Victorian house we have come to the conclusion that ghosts inhabit our house. We have had the house completely re-wired which includes 2 new fuse boxes due to the size of the house. Upstairs and downstairs are on different circuits in different boxes. When we went away on holiday, a neighbor was watching the house and collecting the post each day. Each day when she came in the front bedroom light was on and the downstairs living room light was on. Each day she turned them off, only to find them back on the following day. She was the only person to have a key to the property while we were away
(she has since refused to house sit for me!).
The light in the lounge is a touch sensitive dimmer switch. We have often been sitting watching TV and the lights have started going up and down, on and off. When we have had enough, we ask the 'ghost' to pack it in - and he does!
Most recently and worryingly, I went into my bedroom to discover a make up box n the top of my wardrobe had mysteriously opened (it has a heavy lid) and a bottle of red nail varnish had 'fallen' out. The neck of the bottle had snapped off leaving a trail of nail polish down my wardrobe and across a suitcase and my new carpet!
I am now slightly concerned!
