Review:
When
Coast to Coast AM originated years ago, the primary focus was
on the paranormal -- but that sadly isn't the case
anymore. Coast To Coast AM with
George Noory & Art Bell has, most nights, become just another
late-night talk show. The guests and topics seem to
be rarely paranormal anymore. Many times they are
"scientists" talking about everything from the flu
vaccines to mad cow disease... or even more mundane things.
YAWN!! Sorry, that is not why WE tune in the show - we
get enough of that during the day hours and
"regular" radio and TV. The best times to
listen anymore seem to be the "open lines" times...
and unfortunately since the show is no longer focused on the
paranormal, sometimes that is a big snooze too. Perhaps
making the show a "general" talk radio show brings
in more advertisers, hence more $$ and that is the only
concern of the programming staff at large. Whatever the
reason, most nights we end up turning off the show out of
boredom anymore.
