What you are experiencing here is called Electronic voice phenomena - or EVP. It has been used by many investigators since the 1920s. EVP is a mysterious event in which human-sounding voices are heard on recording tape. EVPs have been recorded, often times, without the knowledge of the person recording, because the voices are not heard until the tape is played back. They are voices of people who have died.

Now let me suggest something to you that I would like you to consider. In our society we have a belief that people die, their spirit moves on to either heaven or hell. But think about this - the body dies, the spirit moves on to another dimension, not a specific place called heaven or hell - but simply another dimension where life exists in a different form; the form of the spirit. Because there is no restriction of the physical body these people can move back and forth between their world and ours. When they do this and a glimpse of them is caught by someone they are called ghosts. But if your psychic abilities are along the lines of seeing ghosts then the way they attempt to communicate is via EVP means.

I would suggest if you are going to continue with this that you leave the tape recorder on when you ask your questions or speak to air - wait a few minutes in between questions then ask your next question...once you complete this play back your recording and see if you get any responses to your questions or statements.

In answer to your question: Are they in your house when you do this? Yes, they cross over from their dimension to ours to respond.

Is it dangerous? No. Though most people do not want to believe it we have spirits from other dimensions move in and out of our physical world all the time. They cause us no harm and generally mean no harm.

Sometimes yes, people do want help. But they will make that clear when they communicate.
