If someone catches a ghost on tape is it real?
RESPONSE:
I will assume you are asking if the ghost is real not the tape. What sort of tape are we talking about here? Are you speaking of video tape or audio tape? Either way if something appears on a video tape wherein there is no other explanation for how it got there and the tape has never been used before - yes it would be considered a legitimate piece of paranormal evidence to reviewed and studied by professionals in the video field as well as in the paranormal field. If it is caught on audio tape, and again there is no explanation for it nor has the tape ever been used before so there is no bleed through - it would be classified as a legitimate EVP or Electronic Voice
Phenomena...and would also be a good piece of evidence to submit to professionals for analysis and to verify that it has not been doctored in any way! So would the ghost be real? I would say yes if all the above can be proven to be true - no used tape in either circumstances and no other humanly explanation for the event.
