Recently
we have had several questions from visitors about Area 51
also known as Groom Lake. Primary question seems to
be what is at Area 51? The only answer we can offer
is this: We don't know! Area 51 is a
restricted area. Signs posted at all entrances state
that if you do not have clearance to enter the facility
you can be shot. Because of this we opted not, when
we visited the area, to cross the line. We watched
throughout the night and day. We took turns watching
the sky for any unusual objects and made notes of such and
took photos if possible.
The next question asked is: Are there aliens at Area
51?
Our answer: We Don't Know! According to Bob
Lazar, who reportedly worked at Area 51, there not only
were aliens there but alien craft as well. Is it
true? We don't know! Some say Bob Lazar made
up the entire thing. Others say he is telling the
truth.
Area 51, also known as Groom Lake, is a secret military
base in the desert of Nevada. Though not terribly
secret any more, it does exist. However, the ability
to approach this area is not open to the public, even
though everything that takes place there is paid for by
the public. It is not certain all that does take
place there. A few short years ago some of the
non-military employees working on the base filed a
workman's compensation claim against the base because of
endangering their lives exposing them to toxic chemical
burn off. However, Bill Clinton, then President,
stopped the action under the guise of national security
and maintained the protection of this area in that pen
stroke. Not only did he deal away the rights of the
employees being harmed but he eliminated the military
(U.S. Air Force) from having to answer to the
Environmental Protection Agency for anything they do in
Area 51. Thus endangering the lives of all on this
planet - since we have no idea what they do in fact do at
Area 51. It is for this reason we believe a
Congressional investigation should be organized and have
an independent environmental group investigate the actions
of the Air Force at Area 51 to determine the type of
hazards they are generating in our
environment.
So what goes on at Area 51? No public person knows
for certain. Should we be made aware of the
hazardous material they are releasing to the atmosphere
and effecting our environment: YES! Should
they be given a free ride to do as they please under the
guise of National Security? NO! The military
works for us, the people, and should have to answer to us
for their actions...I'm sure they don't like that idea but
that is the way our governmental system was
established.
Are there aliens at Area 51 - probably not! Are
there UFOs there? Doubtful, if they were ever there,
because of all the publicity surrounding Area 51.
Will we ever know for certain? Doubtful.
Though the claim of National Security is a thin excuse for
keeping dangerous hazards secret.
